♔ Doesn't know Kirito's name, that's in an earlier memory. He is Puppy until further notice. (Haruki will not call him Puppy, that's just me)

♔ But he does also check the vials before freeing Kirito. PRACTICALITY. Determining that an antidote exists comes before freeing him, at least momentarily.
